GEN Australia Ecovillage Convergence
Maleny Showgrounds, Qld, 29 November to 1 December 2019
REGENERATE FOR A SAFE CLIMATE – Inspire the will to put energy towards solutions
This is an exciting time for GEN Australia as we broaden and build our movement with the Emergence Convergence 2019. Climate change threatens our safe existence on the earth and that of other species too. It’s time to really focus on where we are putting our energy. We all have the power to use our time, skills and other resources to make the cultural and political shifts. We are the leaders we have been waiting for. But we cannot do this alone. The Global Ecovillage Network offers positive solutions for regenerating economically, socially, culturally and ecologically. Meet with like-minded community folk, skill up through workshops on sociocracy, NVC, social permaculture, zero waste, “the work that reconnects”, etc, attend panel discussions and learn from the experiences of people from many different backgrounds. Details are on the website here. We hope you can join us at the Emergence Convergence 2019.

Our first event featured guest speakers, Claire Ogden and Andrew McLean (Ecovillages Australia), Robin Clayfield (Earthcare Education & Dynamic Groups), filmmaker and editor of Eco Village Voice, Michael Ney and Trudy Juriansz (Global Ecovillage Network Oceania & Asia) gave short presentations between videos.
